| Pamela Zeller | Ojai, California | USA | Hello, I stumbled across your lovely photos of your cruise to Alaska and in one picture it showed that you had room D701. I am going on a cruise to Alaska next year and we have room 727. My question to you is: Is the sofa bed a double or single? We will be going with my son and his wife and I am wondering if one will have to sleep on an overhead bunk. Would love it if you could let me know. Also your web page and picture are lovely.
[Hello Pamela! You can see pictures of our cabin on the first day - before (here) and after (here). So yes, somebody will have to sleep on an overhead bunk... Hope you enjoy your cruise as much as we did!! - Adam Hems] | 10/18/2011 11:00 PM |

| Normand Dupre | Ketchikan, Alaska | US | Adam, I am the editor of a weekly shopper in Ketchikan and I know this is a long shot but I was searching for pics of the Zip Line here in Ketchikan for our Recreation Guide for 2011 and found your fantastic shot of your girls in Google. Any chance we could use it, possibly on the cover? The bad news is we have no (zero) budget for purchasing art, but I'd be happy to send you some copies of the issue. We print about 10,000 and give it away for free. We make our money on the advertising only. Anyway, your photography is great and even if you don't give permission, it was a pleasure viewing the photos! The image is 9408872_fNjB. | 2/28/2011 7:00 PM |

| Nancy Coleman Young | New Jersey | USA | My paternal grandmother was Amy Coleman who was born in Birmingham England in about 1886. She had a sister, Vera, who was born in approximately 1887. Amy married my grandfather, Walter L. Sims in approx. 1910 in the US. My grandfather was born in about 1887. She and my grandfather both immigrated to the US when they were 2 years old. I know my grandfather lived in New Hampshire when he came to this country. I am not sure where Amy first lived, although I think it might have been New Hampshire. Amy and Walter had 3 sons: Robert (born 1910, the oldest and my father), Russell (middle son) and Everett (1920 and the youngest). Hems was the maiden name of either my maternal great-grandmother or my paternal great-grandmother. I have very little genealogical information about the Sims family and even less for Hems. I came across your website while I was searching for Sims information and decided to share my information with you. I am 60 years old and I can truly say that I have never met anyone with the last name of Hems! | 7/1/2010 1:00 PM |

I was impressed with the site and all the photos, but it did occur to me that you haven't much privacy with all your pics posted as they are. Regardless, it didn't stop me from vicariously enjoying so many of the fun things in your life. Thanks for sharing... Hugs to all... | 4/16/2004 10:28 PM |

Great family and wish you prosperity and good luck. | 3/30/2004 12:04 PM |

| John Hems | Brighton | England | What a suprise to fine more Hems' out there. We have a fairly small network of Hems' here in the UK mainly originating from Stourbridge in the Midlands. | 2/11/2004 11:13 AM |
| Roger Hems | Liverpool | England | Just arrived at this excellent site. Obviously led here by a Google search for Hemses! Our 'Hems'history knowledge is very limited indeed and I would like to know more. My father - William John Leslie Hems was born in 1901 (into a family which finally grew to 13) in Kingswinford in the West Midlands of the UK. There is a reference on the internet to his grandfather (I think) who was the publican of The Little Pig. My father was a crystal glasscutter (alongside several brothers) and so was his father. One of my father's brothers -Reg - became a tree surgeon in the West Country and he claimed that the Hems family had been traced back to a stonemason who moved to the UK in the 18th century! | 2/10/2004 10:22 AM |
| Kim Hems (maiden name) | Toronto | Canada | My maiden name is Hems. My grandfather was born in Birmingham, UK, in 1895 and he had many siblings. His first name was Frank. Are there any relatives? I am keen on researching our family tree. | 2/7/2004 6:16 PM |
| Victor John Hems | Tokyo | Japan | I have noticed that my e-mail address was mistyped. Now it is crrected so I look forward to hearing from you. | 1/27/2004 12:09 PM |

| George Pahno | Norfolk, VA | USA | You have a very good photo album website with lots of pictures. My favorite pictures are the ones that were taken on the playgrounds, especially the two April 11, 2003 pictures of Chris showing his agility by climbing up the fireman's pole at the park in Stafford, Texas. Your kids Jasmine and Daisy have shown their athletic abilities on the playgrounds, such as swinging on the monkey bars and going down the slides. Can they climb up (and slide down) the poles? Please continue to add more photos (and perhaps some videos) to your website, especially of the kids playing at the playgrounds. Thank you very much, and keep up the good work! | 9/12/2003 1:19 PM |
